    Hi all,
I transferred my OS from HD to a SSD, then installed SSD where the CD used to be.
But there is no option in the BIOS for booting from the SSD.... anybody have a suggestion on how to fix this?
Is there a "rouge" BIOS version out there for the R700?

    Thanks for any advice!

First are you sure it's not the boot up section setup on the ssd that,s not being read by your system?

    Take a look at http://betanews.com/2011/12/12/get-oos-ssd-migration-kit-for-free/

Some members have found this process to work.

Take a look at the laptop-forums section on ssd drives many help articles are listed .

I am sure that other members will help.

Thanks, I'll take a look over there. If I remember correctly, Toshiba Asia support said something like SSD bla bla BIOS bla bla Can not... I don't remember it all.

If you want to boot from the SSD, interchange them, put the SSD where the HDD is, and the HDD in place of the CD.
