I like many others have just had my aspire one aoa-150 black screen of death on me. After searching i found the bios flash fix, but having tried this it won't work for me. my usb drive flashes (it's a kingston 2gb datatraveller)- as if it's being read, for about 15 seconds then stops then after another 10 seconds or so the unit reboots but still with bsod.

I'm wondering if it's down to the fact i already had the latest 3310 on my bios, so would need a newer version?

Anyone have any ideas? before i scrap it.

It might be worth a try, if your machine is not very different fron AAO 110. The problem is not likely with the 3310, I guess. But if you search this forum and Macles blogg, you can either flash the bios using fn + F2, or use a usb with DOS, press F12 and use 3310.bat to resinstall the 3310 bios. Have you tried both?
Also, if you upgraded the RAM check on this forum whether the memory is suitable for the machine. Otherwise, you might have seriuos problems.
