I'm getting really bad speeds via the built in wireless card
I tried a usb wireless card, (RT73/RT2300 from RALINK)
and I've gotten significantly higher speeds.
from like 30KB/s max to 500~KB/s max

anyone else have these problems? the internal wireless card doesn't really seem strong enough

I replaced my internal card with an Intel 6300 and noticed significant improvement in speed.

They run about $35 and are really easy to replace. Totally worth it.

Or you can get any number of wireless N usb dongles that will work as well for about $15.

ah awesome, I think I can't find somewhere to buy things like the 6300, I might buy a wireless dongle, but I can't be sure which ones offer a good performance/battery drain tradeoff, I'm thinking something really cheap.

Is there any reason to get a 300M Network Adapter over a 150M adapter?:D
Also, cheap vs expensive, :$ so many choices
