Newby problem/question: I would like to setup a wireless connetion to my tv cable modem without using a host computer-this is my only computer and that seems to defeat the purpose. Have not been able to find much on the internet, but did locate some material about using a bluetooth router but could not find the information that would help.

Can't you just buy a wireless router and plug the ethernet output from the modem into the ethernet port on the wireless router? I had the same setup at home with a D-Link ADSL modem + wireless router combo.
