Can anyone share the recovery discs?

I got the 120gb WinXP version.

I want to do some changes to the system so I'd like to have a backup. I called Acer as another post suggested. But it's really frustrating talking to Acer customer support to get the discs. I had no luck so far.

For those of you who get the discs can you share them some how? Whatever way is convenient for you? I could pay for shipping etc. or I will burn by myself and send them back. And I will help others to get their discs.

 

You could only get Linux Linpus Lite recovery discs.
I guess the image files aren't that hard to find...

 

I saw several links to the Linux cds.

I do want the XP one. I am sure there are quite few are in the same boat with me. Any one got the discs from Acer wants help out?

 

search for XP recovery in the forums and you will find them... But you should try searching before asking....

Like I said I searched before I posted the question, for some of you who's been on here longer would know better how to get the answer. After this I will know better and I will try to help out the next new member. I believe that would be a good way to communicate, right?

The torrent version was easier to download, as everybody probably already found out

Happened to see the real discs after the download, the file sizes differ a bit though. Don't know why

 

The best thing to do is create an image of your machine on a memory stick at least if you have to reload it it's already customised to your liking including any additional programmes.
