    Greetings,

I have an Acer Asipre one Linux with 120GB memory. I want install Windows XP. Can I use another laptop as a CD drive and link up to my aspire via male to male USB cable? How do I delete linux?

Also, movie's won't play -- only the sound comes out. How would I install media player?

    Thanks for your time.

If you want to fry the motherboards on one or both of your computers, a male-male USB connector is fine ;)

USBs carry 5v, so having a male-male cable connected to two computers is not a good idea.

If you want to install WinXP on your AAO, I suuggest making a bootable USB flash drive.

I think you need the correct video codec to get your media player to display video correctly. Read this thread to get started.
