I just got my aspire one yesterday and I would like to down load power point onto it. Is it possible to do so by connecting it to my desk top computer and loading it via my desk top's cd drive?

You can create small network with resources sharing and use Desktop PC CD/DVD as a medium... Alternatively use USB pendrive and copy entire MS Office CD to it and run on AA1 - works for me...

    Tammy,

Are both desktop and Acer mini connected to the internet. What operating system are on them? Win XP ? If so you can set your CD drive to "share" and install from that drive across the network connection to your mini. Do a search on drive sharing or ask again in here if you need help doing it.
