I have started to create a dual boot system and have used GParted to resize the drive to 20gb for linpus and then it has a second partition for linpus where I want to store my files and then finally a 20gb XP NTFS partition.

The problem is that I can't see any of the drives when viewing my files, just the original partition "My Disk".

The XP and second EXT2 partitions are not viewable?

    Can anyone help?

    Cheers,

    Catch22.

You may need to create the filesystems on the newly-created partitions. From a terminal window in Linpus:
    sudo mkfs.ext2 /dev/<the 2nd Linpus partition> for the ext2 partition and
sudo mkfs.ntfs/dev/<the XP partition> for the XP partition. Be forewarned that installing XP someplace other than the first partition on your hard drive can be tricky.
