Can i play Counter strike 1.6 on Linpus?

    Hey :)

    The topic explains the most.

    Im getting my a110 soon and am wondering if i can play counter strike and half life on linpus?

    You can. Install wine, then you'll be able to install CS 1.6 (and -it seems- any win apps.), just like in win. xp. It creates a folder as dirve C, with 'windows' and 'Program Files' dirs. You will find CS installed there. Just open cstrike.exe with wine.
    (you should setup screen resolution and win wersion first. (800x600 res. is the best, i think))

    so i installed wine and got steam running, but everytime i try and launch counter strike, the launch window comes up and then disappears a few seconds later. anyone else getting this? thanks

    i had CT on linpus used wine, but game was very slow for some reason :-( dont know if is it possible to make it work properly :?
