    Hey guys.

    I have a problem. I cannot get my AAO to boot from USB.
    I was running Tiny7 but it died, so simply wanted to put a new OS onto my machine.

    No matter what I do the AAO wont read the USB to boot, it just hangs on the bios/ACER screen.

    I have looked at the boot order and that is fine. I have taken out an SD cards incase they are confusing things... but still nothing.

    Any ideas?

    If you cant make it work.
    Buy a External CD Drive, and then just burn the os and install..

    I have heard of some USB drives causing Post to freeze but never experienced the problem.

    Simply try a different USB drive. This USB boot is certainly working fine on the AOA150 /110's

    If a different drive does not work, maybe re-write the bios.

    different pen-drive worked...

    odd thing is the one that failed still works as a regular pen-drive and was fine for booting previously.... tiny7 appears to have done something weird to it.

    anyway, need to buy a new drive just for OS flashing.... grrr

    I have a lacie iamakey for day-day use but I do not wanna;
    a: wipe it
    b: screw it up
