Cannot move/delete pagefile!! :(

    Recently put XP on my 8GB SSD, 512MB RAM AA1.

    Very happy with it so far - apart from the lengthy writes to the SSD. I decided to go for a class 6 SDHC card, and move the pagefile over to it. I created the new pagefile on the card and deleted the one on C drive, from the performance options. Despite this the pagefile still sits there (750MB approx) on C drive - and nothing shows on the card!!

    the system pagefile can't be put on a volume that windows sees as a removable disk.

    Instead of moving the page file to your sd card, use the sdcard as a cache for windows and its programs.

    Add 1gb RAM and turn off swap file entirely. Install flashpoint, put all your program files and documents on the SDHC card. And you're all set. ;)
