ran "yum update cups", instead of "sudo yum update cups."

    fedora reported a 100% download of 2.1kB.

Then got "Error: Cannot retrieve repository metadata (repond.xml) for repository: updates. Please verify its path and try again." Does anybody have an url to replace the mirror for this repository as per: viewtopic.php?f=17&t=1386&p=9339? :?:

The repository metadata problem is being discussed (and there is a temporary solution) here.

According to that post, one should uncheck the repository "updates." However, when running "sudo yum update cups", one gets the error: "Could not find update match for cups. No Packages marked for update."

Re-checking box for repository "updates" today, and re-running "sudo yum update cups" yields the following: bla, bla, "Dependencies Resolved." ... updating cups ... updating dependencies ... Is this OK? [y/N] ... type y ... "Downloading Packages" ... (1/2): cups-1.3.7-4.fc8.i 100% ... (2/2) cups-libs-1.3.7-4 100% ... THEN:

warning: rpmts_HdrFromFdno: Header V3 DSA signature: NOKEY, key ID 4f2a6fd2, Importing GPG key 0x4F2A6D2 "Fedora Project <[email protected]> from /etc/pki/rpm-gpg/RPM-GPG-KEY-fedora
    Is this ok? [y?N]:

Does this mean that it is importing a public key to make sure that the update is authentic? If so, is it OK to say yes?
