    Hi, I've recently purchased a Aspire One and have just got a 16gb SDHC card to up the memory. I've inserted it into the left hand slot and it clicks in flush with the unit.

    In the file manager it does not show any increase in capacity (6.4GB). If I click on the spanner icon I'm prompted to insert an SD card but when I press OK there's no change.

    If I type 'sudo fdisk -l' I get:
    Disk /dev/mmcblk1: 16.0 GB, 16071000064 bytes
    218 heads, 56 sectors/track, 2571 cylinders
    Units = cylinders of 12208 * 512 = 6250496 bytes
    Disk identifier: 0x00000000

    Device Boot Start End Blocks Id System
    /dev/mmcblk1p1 1 2572 15690240 b W95 FAT32

    So it appears to know that the card is there. If I insert the card in the right slots and still can't access it but I get the same results when I enquire in the terminal.

    Can anyone advise what I'm doing wrong? I'm in the Linux advanced mode but it's still linpus. I've never had a linux machine so a bit clueless but other than this issue, this machine has been great!
