Hi all I did an online update of my 10.5.6 OSX and now I can't boot it is stuck in a loop it keeps rebooting.
It just gets to the apple logo and reboots?

I tryed to boot to the Snow DVD and reinstall but it still does the rebooting thing.

My Win 7 and XP boot ok no issues.

    Any ideas on a fix?

    Thanks
    In advance.

Update I can boot with my iDeneb 10.5.6 DVD and get into Disk Utilites

By updating, you have put a stock kernel back (with no Atom support). You need to boot with cpus=1 -x -v (i think) and replace the stock kernel with a voodoo (or other Atom compatible) kernel.

I gave up trying to fix my rebooting OSX after a online update. (Acer one 8.9 AOA A150)
So I did a clean install of iDeneb 10.5.8 I checked just the A150 option.( I did a erase then install)
One thing that did also happen is my ubuntu GRUB dissappeared but I can still boot into my WinXP and Win7 partitions?

Now it hangs at the Apple symbol, but I can boot in safe mode.
It won't boot into normal mode?

Anyone have any ideas? Do I need to replace a costom kext?

    Thanks in advance.

    Tim
