Cant delete images transfered from Camera

    I transferred some images from my Canon 350d to the AA1 - the files copied just fine, however, now I can't delete them

    If I look at the properties for the image and go to the permissions tab all I can see is

    Owner: root (root)

    Everything else (access, group, access, others) is greyed out.

    As you may have read in some of my other threads I am having countless problems with my AA1, PC world have agreed to replace it and I need to take it in there tomorrow - as such I need to wipe these images off asap (I don't want to leave images of my family on the beach on the laptop now do i!!)

    Any help anyone?

    sudo rm -r 'folder name'

    worked a treat :D
