    Hi

I'm trying to update the flashplayer on my aspire one and I'm having trouble extracting some of the files after downloading. I'm getting an error message saying 'An error occurred while trying to access the archive' and the command line output is
mv: will not overwrite just-created `/mnt/home/downloads/flash-player-properties.png' with `usr/share/icons/hicolor/22x22/apps/flash-player-properties.png'

I've noticed the 'permissions' for the files that won't extract are different from those that will. I don't know if that means anything but the ones that will have the permissions -rw-rw-r-- the ones that don't are drwxrwxr-x

I'm not great at using Linux but trying to learn so replies in layman's terms would be greatly appreciated :)

    I appreciate any help! Thanks

What distro are you using, what file(s) did you download and how are you trying to extract the downloaded files?
