    Hello!
I have a A110 and I took it to the computorstore to have them installing 1gb extra ram.
They were unable to install the ram (they said it was a strange screw they cant open! Is this normal?) and when they gave back the computor it cant find the harddrive.

    What should I do?

I regret being lazy and not going out and buying RAM and a screwdriver and fixing it myself...

Was it broken? If it aint broke, dont fix it.

Why dont you just look inside and see if they jacked you for your HDD?

It's possible they jacked your SSD or they didn't plug it back in properly. Open it up and check.

Tell them they are useless and to get a set of screwdrivers.

All you need is a small cross head screwdriver and a credit card to work on a AAO. The credit card is great for popping the catches on the keyboard and splitting the case apart. It helps reduce the amount of force used!!
There is a very good video by tnkgirl who shows the whole process of RAM upgrade. It is posted in another topic.
It took me about 20mins to do the RAM upgrade without any hurrying!!
I have done it on two machines now a 120GN hard disk version and the 8GB SSD version.
They have probably not seated the ZIF cable correctly when they put it back together.
    Complete incompetence on their part.
