car charger

hi has anybody tried a car charger from ebay or anywhere else in the uk please

 

Got a car charger from ebay seller Fidohub, and it worked great over the weekend on the road using the AAO as a GPS.

hi dave seen these in maplin but was a bit worried about the amperage is it 19 volts 6 amps

Bought mine on ebay for $12.98 USD from powerseller lee262online. Free shipping from Hong Kong. Not to worry....I have bought from him before and he is a trusted seller. Search for Acer Aspire One Car Charger, or search by seller lee262online and you should find him and the item you need.

 

It produces max of 7.5A @ 19v -

Bear in mind that unlike voltage, (please someone correct me if i'm wrong) your aspire will only draw the current that it needs.Current is not forced into any device. So long as the power supply can cope with the maximum load all is fine. Having a supply that is capable of too many amps if much better than one that doesn't produce enough.

If you were to put too many volts in - that would be very bad :shock:
