I just bought a Acer Aspire AX1200-E1651A and I changed the OS from Windows XP to Windows 7. And I just tried putting in a memory card but nothing seems to load or pop up, is there anyway to fix this? thanks in advance. (my Win 7 is up to date)

Until someone pipes in - I jumped over to http://gd.panam.acer.com/home/ and stepped through the driver's for your Notebook - unfortunately, it only had driver's for XP. When you say "memory card" I assume you are talking about a USB Flash Card. Anyway, by any chance - do you know the model/brand of the controller?

I meant the card slots, where you can put SD cards,Mini SD, Sony memory stick, etc etc. It's located on the front of my computer. What do you mean by the controller? sorry new to these things :?

If you looked at your system hardware configuration - it will tell you what type of controller it is using to handle that card. Unfortunately, if you don't have the driver - chances are it won't show up. However, you just never know. Jump over to http://www.techtalkz.com/windows-7/5159 ... s-7-a.html and follow the procedures. If that doesn't work - you can buy multi-SD readers for a few bucks that plug into your USB port and handle all types of SD's.
