Here's what I ended up getting. Fit's the One, cables, mouse, and other small knick-knacks like card readers, etc. I love the fact that although it is a portable DVD case, it doesn't look like one (ie. no hinged lid)

A quick update, sort of a cross post. From this thread specifically about the T-Pack...
    viewtopic.php?f=10&t=6637&start=0&st=0&sk=t&sd=a

I got the T-Pack and it works nicely for the AAO. Here are a few pics for those who didnt see the other thread...

And all the pics I took of the T-Pack:

I do like the look of some of the others posted here, including the Init DVD player case which appears to have lots of room for accessories, and the VertiGo suite as well.

But I am happy with the T-Pack!

I'm looking for a neoprene style carrying case with handles for my 6 cell AAO. Has anyone used the following case from thinkgeek? Does it offer decent protection? The manufacturer and model is not listed. Does anyone know who makes it? Thanks a lot.

I bought a bag from the national trust for £9. It has lots of pockets and is the perfect size for the Aspire One.

I really really want this case! Has anyone seen it in stores, especially in Canada? $20 at ThinkGeek + $21 s/h to Canada is a real deal killer... I like it better than the $5 neoprene one from DealExtreme because it has extra pockets.

I have the neoprene CaseLogic with the handles shown in previous post. It is a great case, but the fit isn't as snug as I would like. The AAO can move around a little inside the case.

Does anyone know if the Timbuk2 case works well enough with the AAO w/6cell? Can't tell from the pics if the one shown above has the 6-cell.

I think I'm most interested in the following Case Logic 7-10" Ultra Portable Netbook Sleeve:
You can find it on their website here. According to the only review, it is a perfect snug fit for the 6cell AAO. I haven't been able to find it at any store in Canada and I think the only online retailer that ships it to here is eBags.com. Has anyone seen this in stores in the States? Maybe I can get an American friend to ship one to me, or maybe I can hunt one down next time I do cross-border shopping at Niagara Falls.

I just got the Case Logic sleeve you are asking about, from eBags. I have a 3-cell AO. There is a 1" space left in the sleeve after I put the AO in it. Use that to judge about the 6-cell.

Has anyone tried the following Laptop Slim Back from Brando Workship? Here's a link and pic:

It looks very similar to the 7-10" Laptop Sleeve from Case Logic (LNEO-10), link and pic:

However the one from Brando is only $16 and has free worldwide shipping. I wonder how either of them fit the 6 cell AAO...

I have the Case Logic LNEO-10 and the AAO 6-cell. It fits with plenty of room inside. There is probably a half an inch room on the sides and 3/8" on the side with the zipper once the unit is placed in the case. The compartment on the one side works well for smaller items. It will hold the AC charger and cord, but that causes the case to be a tad on the lumpy side - not a big deal really.

All in all, I would recommend this case for anyone with the 6-cell AAO.

Okay, so I just went to my local Future Shop here in Toronto and picked up this Init 9" Neoprene Laptop Sleeve. Link to item here. It's normally $29.99 but they had a special 20% off accessories deal so I was able to get it for $23.99. No side pockets though. The 6-cell fits perfectly with a nice snug fit, but not too tight that it's busting out of the seams or anything. Here's a pic of the case with my AAO inside:

I just got this one from Amazon.

    http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B001H9O1EO

Fits the 6 cell just fine with about 1/2" clearance all the way around. The front pocket holds the power brick, cord, ethernet cable easily.

It's not padded very thickly, you can easily feel the Acer inside, but that's what keeps thin and small.

I'd recommend it to anyone looking for a thin case with storage for the cord.

Between that case and the E-sling (picks in this thread or the other one) I got, I'm set.

Would there be enough room in this one for a mouse, also?
