CDisplay or similar for CBR files (comics)

Hello, I am looking for a program to reiad my cbr comics with the little aspire one but i'm newbie with linpus please I need help to know the program and to install it.

Open a terminal (alt+f2,'terminal') and type:

sudo rpm -Uhv [url]http://rpm.livna.org/livna-release-8.rpm[/url]
sudo yum install comix comical unrar

See which one of comix or comical you prefer.

You can rotate the screen sideways if you prefer, for viewing comics a single page at a time:

Is there a way to make a direct acess for comical inside the "Fun" menu.

as this also helped me,

heres how to get it on the fun menu

go to the file manager (right click on desktop -> file manager this is if u have enabled the advance desktop, if not go to the files box and click on my documents, that should get it open.

in the address bar, put the following

/home/user/.config/xfce4/desktop

you should be greeted with group-app.xml

open this and scroll to group id 7 (its just over half way down and you should see references to programs like games and voice recorder and stuff). the last line should have <app sequence="5">........

make a new line at the bottom of this id group and put

<app sequence="6">/usr/share/applications/livna-comical.desktop</app>

save the file and restart the One and then check the fun screen, it should be there.

 

I know this is an old thread, but it's exactly what I'm looking for!

I've put in the above code in my terminal and this is what I get:

Has anyone got any ideas? I really want a comical and I don't know how to do it from source.
