    Seriously. CDW customer support is a joke. I called again this morning to find out why folks are getting shipping confirmation on this product and the rep I spoke to said they NEVER GOT THEM IN and that it was IMPOSSIBLE that any of you are getting them shipped to you.

    He added that it's possible that all of you ordered "something similar" but not this particular unit as none have come in.

    This gets stranger. I will call again and speak to someone else.

    Next guy I talked to told me that I am #28 in line and the next batch is coming in tomorrow or Friday. He says 50 should be coming in.
    He said they got 150 of them in yesterday. Not sure what to believe anymore. So many conflicting stories but ah well. enough calling them. I'm not getting one yet and I guess thats that.

    How about an alternative from CDW? I'm in the market for a One too, but it's for my daughter and she wants a white one so the wait is on. While watching my long standing Amazon order just sit there, I noticed that the black one is now available on Amazon for immediate shipment. No, I didn't call the vendor to see if they really have them; I'll leave that to you guys. The reseller is ANTOnline; they seem to have good reviews. Good Luck!

    I placed an order with SuperWarehouse.com last night. Just a few minutes ago I called and they said they are waiting on the stock which is supposed to arrive on October 7th. So she said I can be put on the backlog list or cancel my order.

    Not sure exactly what I want to do. I already have the 120gb/XP version so i'm not without.

    Well it looks like I blew it. I didn't order it in time. I was 167 out of 150 from the Illinois warehouse. My rep said they are getting 50 on 9/26 and another 50 on 10/15. They also have 600 white ones coming on 10/1. I changed my order to white (What I wanted anyway) and now I'm back to waiting. In the mean while, I put my order for white back in with Amazon and now its a horserace. Lets see who wins!! Cheers...

    Well here are some facts that you can believe.

    1. I ordered on Monday 9/22@ 12PM.
    2. Mine has been shipped. I have a valid tracking number and a valid serial number for the unit.

    CDW did get them in and has shipped out units. I am sure there are many people on here that can verify this for you. I won't get mine until Friday but I am sure there is more then one person on here who paid for overnight shipping and will get it delievered today.

    As far as their customer service being a joke, I have a direct line and e-mail to my account rep. Every e-mail I sent was replied to within 5 minutes. I was at no time ever misled about my shipment in anyway. My account rep personally e-mailed me as soon as my order was filled.

    Was their a problem with your credit card? The way CDW's queue works in the people that have verified/valid credit are placed into queue first. Even if you were the first one to place an order until your credit is squared away you won't be placed into the "Waiting to be shipped" queue. So in essence there are 2 queue's. All the people who have ordered and then out of that queue the ones who have valid/billable credit. Something as simple as trying to have it shipped to your work instead of your home can cause problems. I had this issue come up with mine but CDW called me 30 minutes after I placed my order and I had it straightened out. If I had been at lunch when they called I possibly wouldn't have gotten my unit in the first batch. I think alot of the frustration here is a lack of understanding of how their queue system works. It isn't necessarily first come first serve.

    Wow you are a douchbag, sound like you are upset that placed my order this week and mine is already on the way. I think you need to go back and read my post again. I wasn't calling people whiners, I was mearly stating the fact that I didn't understand why so many people were complaining since I ordered one without problems. I later noticed how many calls people were making and getting upset about things. It was an observation and from where I sit a pretty good one. Everytime you call in your account is notated. Don't you think that after the 15th call in 3 days people are going to get tired of talking to you. I know I would. I am not saying people got bumped because they were rude, I said it was possible. I know it does happen. I also know they being extremly nice can also get you bumped up. Not saying that is the case here but I am getting my unit and you are not, FWIW. I never insulted anyone on this forum if anything I was trying to be informative and let people know that they indeed were shipping when there seemed to be confusion on that fact. In fact, the very first post I made was right after my rep e-mailed me and told me it had shipped and I verified that they had charged my card. I wanted everyone to know that they were going out. I am not superior in anyway to anyone else on here. I think there has been some misinformation about the way that CDW's queue system works. I tried to clear that up in my previous post so people will know next time. This fact along with items shipping out of 2 wharehouses and people not knowing which one they are in also led to the confusion.

    Yep I said that after I was insulted a few times. If you look back at my post I was clearly insulted and attacked first. But whatever. They are being shipped and that is all that matters....

    It says sign up to be notified when this item becomes available? Anyone else see something different than I? Mine will be here in the morning anyway, but I don't see them at amazon.com.

    I think this is an absolutely HORRIBLE way to queue customers. They should have a single queue of customers who placed pre-orders. Then, when they encounter a customer that they need to do more financing work with, they should place the item aside for them. If, after a couple days, financing has failed AND they have not been able to contact the customer, they should release it to the next customer in the queue. It should be if and ONLY if customers haven't been reached and have screwed up their credit. I for one wish CDW had given me a call (you're lucky they did!).

    So let me get this straight... if I'm reading the recent contents of this thread right, the only people following this thread who have received ship confirmation and tracking numbers from CDW are people who placed their orders within the last 24-48 hours / after all the rest of us had already queued up with our orders and pending charges?

    Like everyone here, I figure we've all been very nice to the CDW reps, but this is nothing short of an outrage if true.

    Well what do ya know?
    After all of that, it looks like my order has been processed and is getting ready to be shipped out at CDW. Just got my tracking number too.

    This is a very unorganized and strange company. I'll wait and see if it gets here.

    I placed my order Friday the 19th in the morning hours. Mine will be here in the morning. I paid via bank debit card so it comes out of the checking account I use strictly for online debit and paypal purchases. I only add money there when about to pay for something. I was going to order the night before and place the money in there next morning but CDW said it would get rejected because although they don't charge until about to ship, they put a pending charge to make sure the funds are there.

    One? That makes no sense at all. Have you confirmed it with them directly?

    Like denshaotoko808, my order now suddenly appears to have shipped. I have a tracking number from a CDW rep (not that it works on DHL's website yet) and the order status shows "All items shipped". I ordered mine Saturday morning.

    It was from a third party seller. But I just got an e-mail saying that they wouldn't be able to ship it to me. Just another disappointment.

    I am in the now shipped camp... Weird but I guess thats what counts is that its on its way :p :cool: . Woo hoo I wonder how long DHL takes to get to Salt Lake Area.
