Change refresh rate on external monitor

    I have a 21" CRT that I typically run at 1600x1200 85hz. In the options for this display I am limited to 60hz at that resolution which is horrible on the eyes. I can run at 1280x1024, but I want more! Is there a way to add this refresh rate to the config file on the monitor? I remember jacking around with this in linux, so I'm assuming it's similar?
