I have a 3G/HSDPA enabled AAO and was wondering if I can change the factory 3G/HSDPA card for something like the OPTION GTM378 or Dell 5200 which have integrated GPS chips?

    Thanks!

    Thanks for your reply Jerry.

After my post I did some googling and found that the A150 with 3G option appears to have the OPTION GTM38O card installed. According to specs on the OPTION website, this card also has GPS functionality.

Is there any way to enable the GPS function (I remember reading about a registry hack for the GTM378 card)?

Also, would additional antennas be required or would the existing 3G/HSDPA antennas be used for GPS?

    Thanks.

There are a couple of threads on this site about using the GPS function on the 380 card in the AAO.

I am using the standard 3G antenna's and GPS works great outside or in the car.
