Which model AAO are you using?

Which operating system are you using?

Which BIOS version does your machine have?

hi, how long have you had this computer?
i had the same problem the first day that i had my D260 (which i only got it 2 days ago on saturday) i was playing with it and studying powerpoints and such with it saturday, and as long as it was plugged in and on it wouldn't go over 96% but now that i have charged and discharged it maybe twice or so it works like a charm and charges it all the way.
sometimes it takes a while for the computer to get used to charging/discharging and telling the percentage of the battery (as well as how long it will last) so it may just take a few days for it to all settle out and charge fully.
at least i know thats how it's been with all my other computers with Ubuntu (linux) windows seems to be really nice and will hopefully get the battery figured out soon. By the looks of it, it may have already solved itself since you haven't posted back yet.
