It's still a "developer/unstable" version, but the Chrome browser is not only usable, it's an awesomely fast improvement:

The only version currently available is a .deb file, so that means Ubuntu.

Over the weekend I upgraded my daughter's 9-inch Aspire One from Linpus to Ubuntu Netbook Remix, and installed Chrome. It's like a whole new computer.

Nice, I've been waiting for this for a while.

I used to use linux more until Chrome came out. I'm totally addicted to it; I could never use any other browser now. :D

    Hi

I couldn't get the release version of Chrome working on My AA1 :( but following Macles instructions I'm running chromium (which is the open source version of Chrome) :D

It works really well, it's much quicker then Firefox for browsing, and the interface is much more streamlined, and it hasn't crashed once for me yet.
