    Hey all,

I installed Civilization Complete (a 3 disk set that includes the original Civ 3 and both of the expansions). Since I don't have a disk drive that I can take with me, I installed a no-CD crack for the correct version of Conquests. Now, instead of giving me a "no disk" error, it simply doesn't run at all. When I launch the executable, it just sits there. In task manager, I don't see that it even started. I know that the no-cd crack is good (I've tried different versions from different people), so what could it be? Could this be an integrated graphics driver problem?

This has been discussed on another thread for vanila Civ3 but the same trick works for Conquests.

You need to run this in 1024x768 (XGA). Use Astray Plus to map this onto the One screen. You also need to insert the line Refresh=60 into the Conquests.ini file (in the Conquests folder) to force Civ3 to run with 60Hz refresh (it defaults to 70Hz which is not supported by the One). Then it should run (at least in does on my AA1).
