    Hello

I am new here and from Germany. I have Stock Acer One A150 mit 160 Gb HDD and XP Home.

I have a question to the recovery funktion of Acer One:

Is it posible to recover Win XP WITHOUT these holy Software crap (for example McAffee, Inter Video, Google Desktop, Adobe Crap..... )

I mean a clean WIN XP Home Enviroment without unneeded Software crap?

    Is there an option?

    Edit:

With stock Acer Recovery funktion, no use of external USB Device.

    Greets

    No,

But then again, you can just deinstall the unwanted programs via the Add/Remove programs controlpanel applet, after restoring to factory setup. That takes about 15 minutes at most.

Don't think so, not using the Acer Recovery at least. There are also a lot of required drivers to run the Acer in that recovery file.

Hm ok. Some work to do now... :D

    Another question.

I had a big problem with my Netbook before.

It boots up and runs extreme slow. (2 min to boot, every programm runs like 100 Mhz CPU)

I desided to recover my OS. Now the problem is gone.

Anybody has an idea what problem that was?

Maybe the Recovery Software? I deleted it with Windows/Software and installed it (newer Version) on a different (not Stock) place. Could this be the problem?
