Cleartype rendering on Linux?

    Is there a way of making the screen fonts seem less pixelated as you get on a Windows system with Cleartype. I love my Aspire, but I do think some of the fonts on screen, especially the text I am typing now looks a bit rough round the edges.

    If you have advanced mode enabled you can right click on the desktop, go down to the settings tab, and go to user interface settings. Depending on the font you are using you can enable antialiasing of the fonts, and sub pixel hinting, to better render your onscreen fonts.
