Cloning/backing up SSD

    Quick and simple - my Acronis 10 CDRom is damaged (else I'd use it) so how can I make a backup of my SSD so that if it gets trashed/I get a bigger SSD, I can just dump it back on. Ideally a USB bootable/saving it onto a USBstick system would be great - I suspect Linux will unfortuneately come into the equation but since I'm running XP I'm asking here :D
    Naturally I'd like a free/cheap solution else I'll just have to buy the latest Acronis.
