    Hi,

I've both mplayer and vlc but neither play AVI or FLV, in fact vlc only plays mpeg.

Does anyone have a link to an RPM i can run to get all the required codecs?

If not, i'm able to get the 'terminal' up if theres commands to enter.

Please note i'm as technical as your grandmother so easy instructions.

Did you download your apps from Acer?

To get mp3 support, I think you have to use a 3rd party repository like Livna or FreshRPMs.I assume that proprietary codecs like AVI will be the same. That's what I did with my One when it had Linpus installed, and it worked although I'm not sure if that's the optimal solution. It can certainly lead to dependency problems when installing software - I couldn't get Audacity installed for the life of me.
