Comcast Compatible Wireless Gateway

I want to purchase my own comcast wireless gateway instead of using their included hardware. Has anyone had any positive experience with any model numbers out there? I'd be particularly interested in Cisco or Linksys. They have a very limited compatibility list on Comcast, and it seems to be a bit outdated.
