Has anyone been able to compile their own LPIA kernel for the recent UNR release? I get errors.

It seems to me that the perfect combination would be UNR + a custom aspire one kernel. Preferable we would build it using the upcoming 2.6.28 kernel, which supports sound perfectly with the new ALSA.

    Can anyone offer some advice?

OK, well if you hadnt hijacked this thread and done a google search for "ubuntu kernel 2.9.27-4 lpia source", the second google return would have been
    https://launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/li ... 2.6.27-4.9
