Compiz and Mobile Partner

    Hi folks,

    I have just edited my xfce4-session.rc to make compiz-manager run at startup. Works a treat and I get rubbery terminals and lots of cube scrolling but.....

    When I try to start Mobile Partner I get a blank box. It is the right size and shape for MP but no text appears. A little box even appears where it would normally say 'initializing sim.' If I then close it I get a box that says 'do you really want to close Mobile Partner.'

    So why are my boxes empty except when I go to close it down?

    It is caused by compiz as I re-edited my rc file and MP worked again.

    Any ideas?
