COMPLETE ZSNES sound fix?

    Does anyone have a 100% effective sound fix?

    I followed these instructions

    "- install zsnes
    - install alsa-oss with package manager
    - start zsnes
    - change sound sampling rate to 480000 khz
    - set video to CUSTOM 1024x600
    - restart zsnes
    "

    And it only worked once, after I shutdown and restarted zsnes, it didn't work. I've also tried running zsnes with the terminal using -ad oss, which also does nothing.

    I didnt even change anything. Default settings... closed it. Reopened and its gone again. I rm'ed the .zsnes config and its still not working. Blah!
