computer keeps telling me

    I just bought a new acer Saturday and it's telling me to make a recovery cd and everytime I put in a rewriteable cd it pops out and tells me to insert a new cd, there is nothing on the cd's I made sure everything was erased before I put it in. It did this on my last computer too. any ideas how to fix this?

    Change CD to CD-R only...

    No - I mean physical CD - you said you have rewritable - use normal CD-R not CD-RW...
