Confused about battery for D255E-13449

I just bought the above model and it came with a 3 cell battery. I'm thinking I'll need a bigger one at some point (either a 9 cell or a 12 cell) but I've been having a stupidly hard time trying to figure out what model battery I need and where a good place to get one is. Do all 255E models use the same batteries? Are they the same as the 255 batteries? Anyone have any links for where I can find these? I'm in Canada, so a good option for that would be great. Glad to have found this forum, thanks for any help you guys can provide.
