Well I looked at my Acer and I SWEAR I thought I had a high capacity 6 cell battery. But its 5200mah

    what does mah mean?

Whats the difference between 3/6/9 cells?

Why do some 9 and 6 cell batteries have different MAHs?

Whats the longest lasting battery I can buy for a Acer?

5200mah is the high capicity or 6 cell battery, the low capicity battery/ 3 cell is only 2200mah

I found this on battery specialists:
So, a 9 cell will last longer and have a higher mAh then a 6 cell. Which in turn a 6 cell will last longer and have a higher mAh then a 3 cell. But, some batteries packs will have different batteries in them to so you will get a different mAh rating on different batteries with the same cell count

And of course, the higher the mAh the higher the price usually ;)

Is there such a thing as a high capacity 3-cell battery for the Aspire One?

Good question! I hadn't thought of that; a 3-cell battery with 3 higher capacity cells than standard?
