Connecting AAO to external monitor

    If I connect the Acer aspire one (resolution:1024X600) to an external monitor (resolution:1920X1200) via VGA, is the maximum resolution that of 1024X600 even on the external monitor?

    I just hooked my D150 to my Acer 19" LCD, and it works at several resolutions, including native 1440x1050.

    I only got 1440x1050 when using the external monitor by itself. When using extended desktop with both displays active, I could only get about half the normally available resolutions to work properly. All displayed, but not perfectly.
