Connecting an AOD250 to an old TV

    this only works if the vga port also outputs svid/composite signals. not all do, and i'm not sure if any intel video chipset does....

    I'm pretty sure the above item will not work, for exactly that reason.

    You'll probably need a true signal converter that takes a VGA signal and converts it into S-video, etc. But these cost much more than $1.

    So the AOD250's GMA950 doesn't output TV signal via the VGA port. Am I right to say this?

    I bought the above item and it did not work.
    You need a signal converter. About $30, or a TV with a VGA or DVI input.
    The Intel chipset on these netbooks will not convert to a regular or composite video signal.

    i wish the d250's came with either hdmi or displayport with audio passthrough.... that would of been great!
