Connecting Aspire One to a TV

    I am having trouble connecting my Aspire netbook to a TV. It is a Toshiba TV that is not designed to connect to a PC. But I have a converted to change VGA to S-video and/or RCA.

    My netbook does not seem to recognize the Toshiba TV when I connect via the adapter.

    I have no problem connecting the netbook to PC enabled TVs. Is this an issue with the netbook or the TV? Can anyone suggest a work around?

    Would a PC to TV Video adapter do the trick? Or does the TV need to have some sort of driver for the netbook to see it?
