Copy Recovery Disk to USB Stick?

    Hi: Finally received my recovery discs from Acer...Quick question; Can I copy the Systems disk to a USB thumbdrive to use for an emergency recovery? I have a portable DVD drive, but I don't always carry it with me...The USB stick would be much more convenient...Thanks,
