    Hi all,

does anybody out there have experience with hooking up a cordless mouse? Does it basically work with the Linpus OS without downloading any kind of drivers? I fancy the Logitech cordless mouse with its tiny USB receiver.

i'm using a Logitech V450 wireless mouse and it works great with Window XP, Linpus and Ubuntu withou installing any other software.

Is it the Logitech V450 Nano - the one with the REALLY small receiver that you have?

Works very well with Linpus. Just plug it in and away it goes.

    Cheers.

Wireless mouse is detected the same as any USB mouse on any OS. It will work.

Will the left-right scrolling by tipping the mouse wheel will work on Linpus as well?

No. Possibly there is a way to get that to work but I wasn't interested enough to try.

    Cheers.

That sounds fair enough as long as the basic mouse functions work fine. One question, do you have the V450 Nano USB receiver?

I do. I bought the mouse mainly to get such a small usb dongle. I never need to remove it from the AAO.

    Cheers.
