Cracked my screen

Hi i stepped on my acer and cracked the screen, and im going to get a replacement screen. Before i do im wondering if the solderless touch screen would work as a replacement or if that is just a overlay that still uses the original. thanks in advance.

 

it is just an overlay so you will have to get a new LCD. Bummer.

I worry about that all the time, it is so small lol. Like stepping on a little dog

Ok, I guess ill be ordering a new screens can anyone tell me the part number can seem to find it in any of the manuals in the box. I have a:

Model Number - ZG5
LCD - 8.9 crystalbrite WSVGA
RAM - 1 GB
HHD - 160gb
windows xp

it says AOA 150 but all i can seem to find screens for are the AOA 110 will this screen fit for me? again thanks in advance

 

I believe they are the same but not 100% sure. More like 99.9%.

A quick ebay search turned up several screen available for your model. HERE is the first one and seems to be the cheapest as well.
