crackling sounds when i play dvd rips..

    I have the standard a110 edition and when i play dvd rips, it makes a very anoing crackling sounds.. even when im using headphones.. Is the a110 to slow to play video ore is it something wrong?

    Im using the vlc player..

    I had the same problem, the cure for me was to move the audio volume slider in VLC all the way to the left to mute the sound, then slide it back to the right about 30%. I have to do this for every new .AVI, but it seems to set a base level for audio playback, and works every time.
