hi, my acer aod150 seems crooked
what i mean by that is that when it is closed, the upper portion is kinda off position.
for example, the left side of the part is higher than the right side and the rubber parts do not touch the bottom part

    is this normal?
if not, is there a way i can fix it?

    thanks! :D

This is not normal. Can you take pictures of your problem? and post it here.

ok, here it is, notice how the left portion does not touch the base of the computer
when i examined it, the screen portion was perfectly straight so i think it's the hinge doing this

It could be a wire in the hinge getting bunched up or crimped along the edge. Or it could be a slight defect in the hinge itself. Does the hinge feel smooth?

Opening up the lid to investigate would of course void your warranty, and the hinge assembly is the trickiest part.

If it bothers you enough, you may want to send it in. If you feel comfortable opening it up, search this forum for d150 dissasembled, lots of pics to walk you through it.

    thanks for the reply
the hinge feels perfectly fine so it could maybe be a defect on another spot of the hinge

but for now, im fine because i placed two clear rubber pads where the rubber pads touch the base
so now it is elevated about 1 mm but leveled out :D

    thanks for the help
