Curious free upgrade

I also received this "free" upgrade with my AAO purchase from Staples.com three days ago. Even though the HD size is listed as 120GB everywhere (outside the box, invoice, Staples' website, etc) it is a 160Gb Western Digital Caviar. I didnt think about checking the webcam, but I'll look into it tonight.

I originally purchased this to keep my toddler away from my laptop and to replace his DVD player/iPod combo, but I am guessing that I'll be using it more

I installed everything that I use on my m1330 and AAO takes them easily. Needless to say I am impressed by this little lappy.

That's the same machine number I have, AOA 150-1126 Model ZG5 (color difference shell white) and I can tell you it's one sweet machine. With the 160 Gig (144 Real Gigs) you got the top of the line son. I paid $399 from Amazon for that same machine, and let me tell you, it is balanced!

I saw a local guy with a another 1570 (dark blue anyway) that he had ordered thinking it would come in at 120 and was very happy to see that it was, in fact, a 160. There definitely appears to be something going on with the 120 Gigabyte blues. Yup, I think Acer is running out of 120s and a lot of people are getting free upgrades.

i also ordered the blue one from amazon, stating 120 gb , it actually came with 160 gb and the camera driver for mine is called Acer Crystal eye Web cam, one of the best web cams ive ever seen, so i am very happy, well the only problem now is my 3 cell battery, so i will have to order the 6 cell or maybe the 9 cell which i saw it almost for the same price

 

i also got the blue AAO 150-1864 stating 1GB RAM and 120 HD but when i check out the C drive it states total size 144 GB and i also have the Acer Crystal Eye Web Cam. Merry Xmas

 

I ordered the pink 120GB from Walmart about 6 weeks ago, and upon setting it up yesterday, found that it has the 160GB drive. I was pleased!

By the way, it also came with the Acer black sleeve. My 160GB white model that I bought a few months back did not come with a sleeve.
