cursor sticky at small distances only

hey guys!

this might not sound like a big problem but it is affecting me so bad that literally gives me actual headache when this happens..

i am a graphic designer and sometimes i need to move cursor just slightly to nail the little details, but it just won't move.. i need to add some extra distance for it too move, but i must not move my finger too far because then it will jump too far into direction im moving my finger..

so i have to play this game with my touchpad where im trying to slowly move my finger on the pad and wait till cursor moves slightly, but sometimes it doesn't move so long that this small moment feels like eternity.. this is moment when blood rushes to my head and headache doesnt go away then for like 20 minutes..

could you guys help me on how to solve this touchpad problem?

it is lenovo ideapad 3 with core i5 10 gen..
