Cursor/touchpad/pointer

    Cursor wouldn't work after i plugged my broadband card into the first port, called ACER and they sent me recovery CD's went out and bought my external CD drive, read the directions to utilize CD's and it states that i should insert SYSTEM cd and reboot the computer and press F12 at the splash screen. Anyone have any ideas how to start moving the mouse or how to navigate this problem?

    can you plug in a usb keyboard and mouse and use them
