Custom icon help

    I created a custom icon for openoffice math on my desktop, but when i try to run it i get the error "/home/user/%U does not exist". What causes this error and how do i fix it?

    So the icon exists on your desktop with the correct image, but when you click on it you get that error?

    If so check the exec line of the .desktop file. If there is a %U at the end, try deleting it.
